Dog Manners Crash Course at Hillcrest Park in Fullerton with Rose Healey
I wanted to say how much of an impact your class had on Mac's behavior. It really taught me how to lead him and I am amazed how far he has come. Walks are no longer stressful and we have really bonded working with him over these past few months. Thanks!

Hi Patty -- My Papillion Cozy and I just finished the K9 Work and Play class with Catherine in Huntington Beach last Wednesday evening. I wanted to let you know that the class was incredibly beneficial for us and Catherine was outstanding! We had a lot of fun and learned new skills plus better communication, which were my goals. Catherine is extremely knowledgeable and brought excellent exercises each week that were at the perfect challenge level for our varied students. I was also glad to receive her homework emails each week. These were wonderful reminders that helped me review (and will be useful now that the class is over). These emails were an unexpected perk that I consider "above and beyond!"
Most importantly, Catherine was personable and patient, no matter what we two-legged and four-legged students threw her way! She's a credit to your company. I would (and will) highly recommend her and this class to others.
This was our second class through Huntington Beach and Dog Services Unlimited. We also completed beginning dog obedience with Khara last year.
Thank you,
Shaun and Cozy

This past week we were pleased to complete the novice obedience course offered by DSU in the city of Irvine.
I wanted to take a moment to point out how great an instructor we thought that Khara is.
I honestly did not think that a half chihuahua/half terrier was going to take in much training, but we were very surprised and pleased with the results. Even with admittedly less than regular practice by us Abbey responded precisely in the ways that Khara explained and we were able to use her instructions to easily get Abbey following direction.
We look forward to moving onto the next level or even refining the novice work and hope to cross paths with Khara again.
Thank you!
Take care,
Richard M.

Thank you, Paul, for your knowledgeable teaching. Tiffany (and I) got a lot out of the class. We will not be at the last class this Monday, but I did want to thank you.

I needed help with my 8 year old Golden Retriever because he nipped someone at the apartment complex where I live and was told I could no longer keep my companion dog. I immediately signed up with Dog Services Unlimited (found on line) to see if they could help. They offered a private training one hour weekly at the apartment complex so he could be specifically trained at his home and the apartment grounds. Patty signed me up immediately and Khara came right away to evaluate the situation and start training. It only took 3 sessions to learn so much especially how to anticipate a potential situation and handle it immediately. My dog responded well and actually seemed relieved that he no longer had to be constantly on guard because I was in charge. Khara addressed every issue possible and her style of training reinforced my learning. Ultimately, my dog was allowed to stay at my apartment.
I was so pleased with the training that I am starting a group training with Dog Services Unlimited to help my dog be more social. I know he will do well.
What surprised me was how an 8 year old dog, set in his ways, could learn so easily and happily.
Thank you Dog Services Unlimited.

Dear Paul,
I wanted to let you know that unfortunately Kiya and Harley will be unable to attend dog obedience class tonight. Their masters are obligated to a different event.
We want you to know how much we learned from the class. Although we did not perform as consistently as we should have, we learned what to practice, and practice, and practice.
It is going to take the breaking of bad habits on the part of the (so called) masters as well as more consistent work...but we will not stop as we want to have others enjoy the company of our pets and see their loving side.
You mentioned a certificate; that is not something we feel a need to have, it the learning we take away and plan to continue that is important to us.
One question....to continue the learning for our dogs: would it be wise to attend another obedience class or is there another class that would be good for our two characters. We are interested in keeping them socialized as well as well behaved. I attended obedience training once before, many years ago, and want you to know I enjoyed your manner, the way you kept the dogs together so they learned to behave around one another e.g. the 'in and outs' around the circle, and the understanding of the different personalities of the shy vs agressive dogs.
You covered just what I want my dogs to get better with - heel, sit, stay and down....my husband loved the foot on the leash system for down. It works so well for the Weimer. Haven't conquered the grass allergy yet but are working on that.
Again, thank you for sharing your expertise. We do hope to have another class with you....just don't know what it should be....and would love to find one that is not on grass.
Sincerely,
Judy, Kiya, and Harley

THANK YOU for offering this class!
Ginger Simon was our trainer. Her skill and experience in obedience training benefitted both dogs and owners. She would frequently work an unruly dog and within minutes, the dog understood what was expected, and performed properly. Ginger can communicate with a dog so easily and quickly. If only the owners could be trained as easily!
Ginger’s breadth and depth of knowledge of breeds, and the best training techniques for them, allowed many owners (including myself) to get personalized tips for training and handling problems. She patiently gave her personal time and helped every owner who stayed after class with questions.
If it hadn’t been for Ginger’s skill and encouragement, I believe that my recently ‘rescued’ adult dog would have been returned due to her behavior problems. Fortunately, I stuck with it, and am very pleased with the outcome.
Ginger had been the trainer when I took this class in Fall 2000 with my previous dog. I spoke with several other owners who were also re-taking this class because they had such a good experience training their dog with Ginger.
I vote “Ginger Simon for Dog Trainer of the Year!”
Thanks again for offering this class through the Huntington Beach Community Centers.

Dear Sirs,
Before I knew about this class, I had had my dog for three weeks. In that time, that dog made it clear to me that he didn't have to go in the house when I wanted him to when it was time for me to leave. He also made it crystal clear that it was perfectly okay for him to bite me or anybody else to show me who was boss. I had to leave this stubborn dog in the house whle I left and hope for the best.
I knew I had to do something. I talked to a friend, and he recommended Rosie's class. I got in that night. I was so thankful that there was a humane way of dealing with the problems I had with this otherwise beautiful animal.
There would have been a good chace that I would have had to put our dog down, with the amount of times he had nipped people. Thank goodness Rosie provided me with viable options. I now hae the dog of my dreams, not of my nightmares.
Thank you for having Rosie Healey as one of your instructors.
Sincerely,
Susan and Hunter, Chino Hills class

Hello,
Just wanted to tell you my 8 month puppy and I finished my obedience class with Rose Healey and we enjoyed it. Although graduation night didn’t go too well, I feel like each weekly class went really well. Rose was such a nice person, she explained each exercise clearly and helped anyone who needed a little extra attention. I think everyone on my class enjoyed themselves and we all learned a lot. Rose threw in a little humor each week and never made any of us feel bad is our dog didn’t do things just right.
I’m planning on returning to obedience again in January. I say why not go again, my pup can’t do any activity classes until he’s at least a year old so we’re doing obedience again. Being around other dogs and people is good for both of us.
Thank You,
Chris & Axel (miniature Australian Shepherd)

Teri,
I wanted to send you a note of thanks. I have had Autumn for about two years. She was my daughter?s dog so I never felt it my place to be training her. She was a monster, and that was what we called her. She had ruined several patio sets, dog beds and ruined my yard. After my other dog of 18 years passed away I finally decided that I could no longer handle her behavior and took over Autumn?s complete care and training. That?s where you and your course came in. I signed up for the beginner?s class thru our City?s community services department and couldn?t wait to begin. Once I went to the first meeting I knew this was going to be great. I was so excited to go to class and have Autumn learn something, anything! Teri, now she?s such a different dog ? and in a great way. She listens (most of the time), she waits to go inside until I tell her it?s OK. She sits, she walks with me instead of walking me? she gets excited to go ?bubye!? and she is so much more calm. She even sleeps in the house ? at the foot of my bed on her own special blanket even. I cannot say in words how much I appreciate the help your course was to me. I never thought Autumn would be anything more than a monster and now I can?t even bear to think that Monster was her name for so long! Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the smile on my face!
I?m hoping my schedule will permit me to bring Autumn to the next phase of her training after the holidays!
Thanks again!!
Jean-Marie

Good Afternoon,
My dog Izzy (a 1-year-old rescue) is a student in Rose's Saturday Morning Anaheim class. Last week, Rose noticed that Izzy was behaving as if she were spoiled. I was unable to control her with a normal training (aka "choke") collar, so Rose suggested a pinch collar. For the first few minutes that Izzy wore the pinch collar (under Rose's immediate care and supervision), she threw what can best be described as a temper tantrum. After a few minutes, though, it was as if I had a brand new dog! Izzy's poor behavior and lack of attention stopped. For the remainder of the training session (and for the past week), Izzy has worn the pinch collar willingly and with GREAT results! I can't thank Rose enough for suggesting the pinch collar and for helping Izzy work through that first (and only) temper tantrum.
Furthermore, it is apparent that Rose has a wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to animals. Each suggestion that she's made has changed my relationship with my dog for the better! She clearly knows what she is doing!
Thank you,
Kat Stratton

Hi,
My name is Theresa and my dog Stubby is currently enrolled in your Thursday night class with Khara. She is the most amazing teacher we have ever had. She has this way of teaching that makes it so fun to learn. Her personality is awesome. Stubby loves going to class and loves the praise she gives. She not only teaches us how to manage our dogs she helps us to understand why they do what they do. Having Khara as an instructor has been fun, entertaining and she has given us the knowledge we needed to understand the needs of our dogs. Stubby now does not expect a treat after he obeys a command and thanks to Khara I now know the right way to corrected him. I look forward to continuing our education with Dog Services Unlimited and I hope all your other instructors are as wonderful as Khara.
Thanks a bunch
Theresa Ingarfill and Stubby :)

Hello Patty,
My puppy recently completed kindergarten with Rose Healey at Recreation Park and I would like to enroll her in the next course. I am interested in the Wednesday 7-8PM class beginning on June 20th with meetings in El Dorado Park West.
FYI: Rose is a wonderful teacher and has helped our family bond with our new puppy with respect, discipline, and love. :)

I just wanted to say thanks to Rose Healy for a great training class. My husband and I had our hands full with our 9 month old Great Pyrenees pup. At well over 120 lbs of lovable high energy in a breed known to be difficult to train we didn't expect him to get to much out of a training class. We were really impressed with how well the methods Rose used worked and how our dog responded to them. Actually all the dogs that stayed with the class did great-the change in the unruly dogs in the beginning to the well mannered dogs at graduation was amazing. She came early and stayed later just to help everyone with our many dog problems, everyone in the class though she was wonderful. Thanks Rose-we look forward to taking more classes with you, it was fun!

Good Morning!
Just wanted to send a note to you, thanking you for your services. My puppy Dylan and I just completed our Puppy Kindergarten with Rose last night. She is awesome. I also took my Lab to her private class a few years ago.
Dylan and I have a goal to receive his CGC in the near future, so we will be continuing classes with Rose. Please advise when the schedule for the next Dog Obedience class will be up. I checked the site and did not see the new classes listed yet. We will be attending Fullerton again.
Thanks so much!!

Hello Dog services!
I atteneded the Novice obedience class in Huntington Beach and had Khara as my teacher. She has been so generous with good advice and she has really helped me and my dog. Thanks to Khara we passed the Canine Good Citizen test and her instructions have helped to correct Tommy and me in a positive way. The classes are fun and Khara makes the training interesting at all times.
This was a great class with a great teacher! Thank you for everything.
Monique and Tommy
P.S. the CGC with Paul was great too, Paul was supportive and fun, and made us feel a little bit less nervous about the whole testing!

Today was Cori's 1st training day. This was our final try before returning her to the animal shelter.
When I arrived I left her in the car to introduce myself to Rose and explain that she is out of control and difficult to handle around other dogs.
As I got her towards the group I was having a very difficult time with her. Rose came to the rescue with a better training collar for me to use and simple instructions. I was already embarrassed with the other dog owners but going to give this a shot since it was Cori's last hope.
Half way through I noticed she and I were starting to get it.
THANK YOU to Rose our wonderful teacher for her loving informative lesson. I look forward working with Cori everyday this week and to see Cori learning more each weekend.
Thanks again,
Rachel S. and Cori
UPDATE: April 9, 2011
Hi Patty,
I just wanted to give you an update with our newest member of the family Cori. We have seen a big improvement with her listening to us and occasionally needs/gets reinforcement. Cori is great with the commands but still gets disobedient near some dogs. I am working with our instructor "The Wonderful Rose" on that issue. Rose is so amazing and I have learned so much from her. Each week she give me more great information. She feels that we should continue with the lessons to get a better handle on her.
She may never be a beach/ park dog but either way she is a keeper and we appreciate all that our instructor Rose and Dog Services Unlimited has done for us. There is a photo attached with her on the right and our other dog Mickey on the left. Thanks to this class she went down and waited for me to take the photo!
I know that we still have one more week and much can happen however if we would like to continue the lessons, what would be the cost?
Thanks again,
~Rachel and Cori

Hi Rose
I just wanted to thank you for helping us with our dog Razzie, the American Bull dog, she was a handful before we met you. I really wanted to give her away because she was causing me so much trouble. You made me understand my dog and understand why she was the way she was. She is a whole different dog then the day we first took her to your class. We know she still needs training, but training comes with work and work becomes an obedient dog. I'm still trying to get her not to jump on my 4 year old and still trying to get her to hang out with us inside the house, but I have hope it will happen. I've been telling everyone about your class and I think my sister-in-law will be taking your class on 9/25 in La Habra. I also have a couple of other friends who have American Bulldogs and signing up for classes as well.
I also wanted to thank you for giving my daughter,Teylor, the Jr. Handler Award (I think that is what you called it), she was so happy and it built up her self-confidence. She was telling everyone about her award. She even took it to school today, she was asked to bring 3 things about her summer and the only thing she wanted to talk about was her award and the certificate she received, she didn't even talk about our Hawaii trip.
We will continue working with Razzie and will see you for the 4 week Crash Course on Oct 3.
Again thanks for all your help, you are an execellent trainer,
Annette and Lauren

Theresa,
Maggie & I wanted to thank you and let you know how much we enjoyed your rally obedience class. I'm sorry we left so soon after class but I was freezing! I knew I should have dressed warmer! Anyway, the class was a great experience for Maggie as she really needed to work in a socialized environment. We hope to continue with training and maybe even get into some competition.
Thank you again for your expertise and patience.

Hi Paul & Patty,
Just wanted to say thank you for what you did with Biscotti. I am completely amazed. He's so adorable & now he's trained better than I ever believed would possible. It would have been devastating to have to get rid of Biscotti. Glad I don't have to worry about that anymore. He is a much more happy & settled dog. I think because he clearly understands what is expected & acceptable behavior & has confidence. Now I see that when he wants my attention he sits down in front of me to show me he's doing the right thing & not jumping on me.
I remember vividly the day my husband called me at work to let me know that we had received a complaint from the city about excessive barking. One of the neighbors complained. I was literally sick to my stomach. My options seemed bleak. I wouldn’t have him de-barked and that meant that I would probably have to give my puppy away. I cried as I drove home in bumper to bumper traffic. It was only a couple of months before that my horse died and it looked like I was about to lose another beloved friend. My husband happened to call but I had cried too long to conceal my tears. He was really great. He reassured me & told me not to worry that we would resolve the problem.
I began exploring alternatives to solve the problem. Though I have had dogs all my life nothing that prepared me for my adorable, smart Papillion. My husband works at home and I work long hours and by the time I get home in the evening not really interested in training a puppy not to mention the fact that I’m not good at it either.
When I filled out the forms the day we dropped him off it asks what problems we were having. This was my list: Barking, running out the door, not coming when called, jumping on us as well as our guests, mouthing/biting (puppy play non-aggressive). I had already taken him to a puppy obedience class but he didn’t do any of his commands with any consistency. The most distressing issues were the barking & running away. I was afraid he would get hit by a car or my husband would get hurt chasing him down the street.
I didn’t realize that there were dog trainers that actually train in their home like a normal living situation instead of strictly kennel training. I felt that this would more closely duplicate our living situation & problems.
When we picked Biscotti up Paul put him through his paces and I watched as my husband also put him through his paces. He did his sit, stay, down, recall, heel. He absolutely did everything. Biscotti did it so well that my husband said “He’s better than Babe & Nugget (our field trained golden retrievers). How embarrassing.”
When we got him home all I can say is that he was a new dog. It was a total transformation. Not only did he do all the commands right on cue with no hesitation but he seemed to have a calmer happier demeanor knowing that he knew exactly what to do in all situations and the bark fests have thankfully ended. My husband took Babe to the vet & when he opened the back gate on our SUV Biscotti jumped out to piddle & immediately came back & jumped right back into the car. No cues necessary. I am absolutely thrilled and grateful with the results. It was really more than I ever could have hoped for. I have always wanted to do agility. Quite a lofty goal for a dog that didn’t even come when called! I am so grateful to Patty and Paul. It would have been more than I could bear to lose both my horse and dog. Thankfully that isn’t something that I will have to face and our agility classes start in June! Our dogs are a big part of our lives and we will have a better quality of life of as result of the training. I am ever so amazed and so grateful.

Dear Paul & Patty,
Thank you so much for taking such good care of Bear! Knowing he was staying with you in your home allowed us to have a worry free vacation -- What a treat! Bear obviously loved the time he spent with you, your dogs, and all the other dogs that grace your home. We can't say enough how much we appreciate your work. We hope he didn't wear you out too much, we know how much of a handful he can be!
Until next time,

Hi Patty,
I just finished the 4 week crash class with Rose in Norwalk. I wanted
to let you know what a great class this was. Rose is amazing! She was
able to keep us and the dogs in order, she did a wonderful job. My
dog Tommy went through a transformation that I didn't think was
possible in four weeks. If I want to continue with my training could
you recommend the right class for me in the surrounding area.
Thank You,
Jon and "Tommy"

Hi Paul,
I just wanted you to know how happy I was with the progress Bella made during our training class. The last week I used the can technique and she really became more attentive. No more of the Husky lunge. I was totally surprised how well she heeled during the walking exercise and I could feel the difference. She felt so in tune with me. We hadn't even practiced the "recall" and "around" but she was able to do it. I'm going to have her spayed the week of March 24, so I'm going to wait to enroll her for the grad novice during the summer session. She should be well recuperated by then. Thanks for sharing all your experience. It has made a difference in our four legged friends. Even Spencer showed some progress.
Sincerely,
Rachel Dominguez

I wanted to tell you that Murphy, my cocker spaniel, and I passed the AKC Canine Good Citizens Program at Irvine Community Park last week. I am so impressed with your services I wanted to let you know how much Murphy and I appreciate Khara, Theresa and Paul's help in getting us to this important stage in our training.
We took the novice training with Khara last year and then we took the Review training last month with Theresa B. Both trainers were excellent. Then Paul was very patient with our nerviness for completing our AKC Citizens Program.
Again, thanks and I would highly recommend anyone in need of dog training take your courses. Murphy agrees.

Hi Patty,
I just wanted to thank you for all your help on the phone and to let you know how much I have enjoyed classes with Marie Charpentier. I am a returning student. I first went thru her class with Gunner eight years ago. I even purchased the book "Who's Walking Who?" and wore the book out so much. That when it came time to bring my new puppy Abby to Puppy Kindergarten Class I not only purchased the Puppy Pamphlet, I bought another "Who's Walking Who?". The book has not only been helpful all these years to me, I loan it out to all of my friends! I encourage everyone who takes these classes to do themselves a favor and pick one up for their home library. I refer to it often!
I'm looking forward to Abby's next class with Marie in April at San Martin Park in Lakewood. We have been practicing, but need to have Marie's eye and the added experience of working in a group.
Enclosed are pictures of Gunner now 9 years old and Abby (on the right) who is 7 months old.
Thank you again Patty! And please feel free to post this on your web site!
Sincerely, Roxann

It has been a great experience for our family that Milo ( our 5-month-old puppy) take this class. He has been a joy to all of us. I also like to thank Rose for taking the time gave Milo a one on one lesson after the first meeting while Milo was too excited to settle down to be in the class, Rosespent at least 20 minutes and gave him some lesson, and definitely worth the time. And for us, the 2nd. class was a joy, he listens well and behaved nicely....... I am very grateful what Rose did. She is a great trainer and very experience in her profession.
Thanks,
Ting

Hi:
My name is Julia and this is my dog, Lukas. We had a great time and took first place in our class of Novice Dog Obedience at El Toro High School. Our instructor was Carol Tilton and this was the second class I've had with Carol. Last year, I took an obedience class with my other dog, Roadie. I have been an elementary school teacher for over 13 years and have raised two kids and I must say that Carol is an outstanding instructor. She loves what she does and is an excellent communicator with a great sense of humor. It's amazing to watch the class progress from a group of barking, out of control pets and in just a few short weeks this same group transforms into a high performance and well disciplined team. Carol's energy and passion are boundless. In one week, she know the name of every dog. I would strongly recommend this course and Carol to any dog owner who wishes to enhance their relationship with their canine pet.
Lukas and I are very proud of our trophy, but I am sure that everyone in the class feels like a winner. Carol has a great gift for teaching and a lot of knowledge to pass on. Thank you so much, for a great experience that Lukas I will never forget.
Sincerely,
Julia and Lukas

Patty,
Great speaking with you, thank you for all your help. We will definitely recommend your classes to anyone. Grissom (my 8mth old Newfoundland) and I learnt so much from taking the Novice Obedience training at Laguna Niguel with Wendy. She was very professional and clear on what needed to be worked on each week. Grissom has come a long way and we will continue to work with him. Our goal is to get him certified (AKC Canine Good Citizen) and we are very happy that we can keep working with Dog Services Unlimited on this.
Attached are 2 pictures of Grissom.
Thank you,
Azrina & Grissom

Hi my name is Raymond. I just want to say that my dog Candy and I had a great time in Khara Knight's obedience class. Khara was a good teacher, and she was really patient. Even though my dog didn't learn everything, she learned a lot.
Thank You Khara. Candy and I are glad you were our teacher!!!!
Hi,
I just want you to know how much I appreicate the dog instructor Ginger who leads the dog obedience class on Tuesday nights at the Oasis Center. She has control of all the dogs, is clear in each step of instruction and keeps everyone organized. My Irish Setter, Finnegan, is doing really well in class and I look forward to the other classes. Two other classes I had signed up for were cancelled but it has worked out well because of Ginger!
I had 4 training sessions with Good Dog University and was disappointed in their loose training techniques. IMy dog has responded better in one session with Ginger than in 4 sessions with Good Dog U.
Please pass this along to the City of Newport Beach and please let them know that I think Ginger is a fine instructor. I also would be happy to be a referral for anyone considering using Ginger as an instructor.

Hello,
We started our energetic 6 month old Border Collie mix in Carol's Dog Obedience class. When Hurley started class she was all over the place. I could barely handle her she had so much energy. After the 8 weeks, she was a totally different dog. Carol was amazing.
She was so patient and so helpful when it came to training our pup. She was always willing to stay after to answer questions and really made a great impact on our puppy. Not only did she help train our puppy, but she did a great job training us on how to be good owners.
We hope to continue all of our classes with Carol.
Thanks Carol!!

Hi,
My name is Kim and I had Tank, a pit/lab mix in the most recent class. I just wanted to say how impressed I was with Theresa's teaching style. She was Very Professional, Clear and Positive, as well as Humorous and I thoroughly enjoyed every class!
I was very concerned about going to the class the first night with 20 something dogs all in one area because my dog can be dog reactive. Theresa had explained that everyone was to keep their dogs 10 feet apart at all times but people don't always hear everything and I have to tell you I was VERY Anxious about all those dogs being in the same vicinity as my Tank.
>^..^< Theresa's thorough explanation of the training collar was extremely
important and beneficial and kept my dog and me out of trouble!!!
My goal (after reading the hand out from front to back) was to have Tank do the graduation off leash. I expressed that to Theresa and she made it happen. I have been working with Tank for Three Years and this was the most amazing feeling to have been able to see him do so well at graduation. I am getting teary eyed just remembering!!! >^..^<
Thank you, Theresa for your patience, your knowledge and your humor!!!

We trained our first Labrador Retriever, Sam, at Long Beach Parks & rec with Catherine Holhouser in 1993. The result was a well behaved dog who was beloved by all because he was so pleasant to be around. When our kids were preschoolers they had a couple little friends who were terrified of dogs.
But exposure to Sam with his good manners helped them get over their fear and now each of those families have dogs of their own. Even our non-dog friends and neighbors said that if they could have a dog just like Sam, they would. The time invested at class and on homework over the 6 months (puppy kindergarten and dog obedience) paid dividends over the 14 years we enjoyed our wonderful dog. Now we have a new puppy, Hank, and are back in class with Paul Thurner. We know that our efforts will again contribute to having a dog that is an enjoyable part of the family. We are looking forward to being able to bring him to soccer games, on vacations, to the park and dog beach because of all the wonderful help and training you have provided- THANK YOU!
One more thing if you don't mind. We are practicing 'stand' (which is hard, as you know). Do I heel him out of a stand or have him sit, then heel out?
Thanks again!
Colleen Bogich
P.S. I included a picture of Hank looking innocent (no socks around to tempt him!)

Hello,
We started our energetic 6 month old Border Collie mix in Carol Tilton's Dog Obedience class. When Hurley
started class she was all over the place. I could barely handle her she had so much energy. After the 8 weeks,
she was a totally different dog. Carol was amazing. She was so patient and so helpful when it came to
training our pup. She was always willing to stay after to answer questions and really made a great impact on
our puppy. Not only did she help train our puppy, but she did a great job training us on how to be good
owners. We hope to continue all of our classes with Carol.
Thanks Carol!!
Shelley, Erik and Hurley :-)
Khara,
We just wanted to say THANK YOU for the awesome training sessions at our home. We both learned a lot, and we understand each other so much better! See you soon!

Subject: Carol Tilton
We started our Tibetan Terriers in Carol Tilton's classes. It was a great experience for them and us. Carol's techniques work! Her classes are taught with clear direction, great skill and a loving sense of humor. Her ability to quickly get to know all the dogs and their owners in her class is a special quality. Both dogs and humans learn a lot. Now, our third Tibetan just completed Carol's Kindergarten class and will follow through in all of her classes. We truly look forward to working with Carol again.
With best regards,

Re: CAROL TILTON, Instructor
To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is in reference to the excellent quality of service that instructor CAROL TILTON of Dog Services Unlimited gives to responsible
dog owners. My German Shepard was only 6 months old at the time of our first training course with Carol. This class taught me more than I ever imagined. Carols' stellar training techniques were amazing to witness and be a part of. She was always eager to answer any questions that I or anyone else in the class had during or after class on a one-on-one level. I was so impressed with the way she taught me to handle my dog that I referred eight different dog owners (that I thought could use the work) to her training course. All agreed to her outstanding ability.
After my dog graduated from her first obedience course I enrolled her in the agility class at Mission Viejo High School were I had the chance to watch Carol teach her advanced class (that was held in the same area) which really is a sign of how well her training techniques work. I am looking forward to taking more intermediate classes with her and hopefully will have my dog in one of her advanced courses someday down the line. I want to thank her and your organization for utilizing such talent. There are a lot of dog training services in business who charge a ridicules amount of money to train your dog for you and not teach YOU humane ways to control your dog. I will highly recommend your service to
anyone.
Sincerely,

Dear Dog Services Unlimited
I wanted to thank you for the quality of service you provide. As first time puppy owners we signed up for your combo program. It has been WONDERFUL for our entire family! Beginning with puppy class, we have learned SO much as well as have truly enjoyed the opportunity to grow with our dog. We consider taking each class as our treat to Brophy because he gets time each week that is completely devoted to him. Hence, Brophy (now almost 2) has attended several beginner obedient and CRASH classes more for our sake than his. Lucky for us, your service offers so many classes. While we may have taken advantage of the unlimited beginning training we have gotten to know several of your trainers. All of which are very good at what they do however, Khara [Knight] really stands out. In the classes that we have taken with her (2 or 3 now), Brophy (and ourselves) made the most progress. I think it is because of the caring way she empowers her students (both human and canine) with knowledge and practical skills. Khara is able to communicate with a wide and diverse audience, yet manage to get everyone involved, retain their attention, and actually teach them. We have attended both small and large classes. You would think that we would get more out of the smaller class yet we didn’t and learned that it is the instructor that makes a difference. While I’m sure there are many way to train a dog, Khara is the most effective and enjoyable instructor we have had. When we were able to have Khara do our 90 minute in-home training, it was wonderful. Not only is she professional, she was able to identify our weak points and trouble shoot viable solutions. For instance, Brophy loves to run into the neighbors garage (they have dogs too). Khara showed us how to teach him a boundary and now Brophy waits excitedly in their driveway! Well, most of the time. The in-home training was a wonderful opportunity for us to utilize Khara’s skill and passion for what she does. It has made our life easier and maintained neighborly relations. Again, thank you for the wonderful service and trainers that you provide. Please pass our gratitude on to Khara.
Best wishes! Kekei Williams PhD

If you want some really good 'no-nonsense' dog obedience training for your pet, then you need to take Carol Tilton's class. She is very loving and caring to all the dogs' but she let's both them and the owners know who is boss. That is why I took this class. My family and I love our seven month old Aussie, Maggie the Maniac, very much. But, we know that she needs some rules. Maggie and I have taken two classes from Carol, and Maggie's behavior at home and out in public really shows a huge difference. We get lots of compliments on her behavior. I just wish Carol trained teenagers too!

Dear Patty,
Last night was our final crash course with our new puppy Lola and we
could not have had a better experience. We had the extreme fortune of
having Mrs. Khara Knightas our instructor. Mrs. Knight brings her
wealth of information and obvious love for dogs to the class. These
qualities are wonderful but useless without the ability to communicate.
Mrs. Knight possess the rare quality of effective communicator. She
takes the time to both tell and show us what she would like us to do
and is always ready with a reminder, kudos or praise for both the dogs
and people! We feel so very fortunate to have had Mrs. Knight as our
instructor and am disheartened that she teaches only the crash course.
If it is in your control, may I suggest expanding her repertoire - she
is surely capable and a wonderful representative of Dog Services
Unlimited. Congratulations on hiring such a wonderful and
knowledgeable employee.
Sincerely,
