What do we learn during in-home training?
Dog Services' in-home private training program is customized to fit each client's needs. Some clients may meet with a trainer only once, for advice and direction on just one training goal or behavior problem. Many clients prefer to sign up for our 3-lesson package, and still others wish to meet for ongoing training and problem-solving under the guidance of our professional trainers.
Typically, our lessons include introducing you and your dog to basic obedience commands, as well as devising a personalized plan to help you prevent or correct unwanted behaviors such as jumping on guests, pulling on the leash, nuisance barking, hole-digging, destructive chewing, housebreaking problems, and bolting from the house or escaping from the yard. We also offer more advanced obedience commands and boundary training help, depending on your dog's skill level.
We gladly work with every member of your family who wishes to participate, and we are eager to help you with any specific problems you may be experiencing with your dog around the house or in public.
