Is in-home private training available for puppies?
In-home training is an excellent option if you have a young puppy and want to get off to a good start with training and expert advice on puppy-related topics. In-home private training offers you the chance to work safely with your puppy at home when he is still very young and not yet fully vaccinated.
A professional trainer from Dog Services Unlimited will meet with you at a time convenient to your busy schedule: daytime, evenings, or on weekends. The lessons will include introducing you and your puppy to basic obedience commands, as well as personalized advice and help for preventing or correcting unwanted behaviors such as jumping on guests, nuisance barking, hole-digging, destructive chewing, escaping from the yard, and housebreaking problems.
Our clients choose in-home private training for a multitude of reasons: perhaps they can't fit a group class into their busy schedules, or they don't feel comfortable bringing their puppy into a group of strange dogs, or they simply want the individual focus of private training, working one-on-one with with a professional trainer.
One training option that is particularly popular with puppy-owners is our Combo Program, which includes a 90-minute private in-home training session and unlimited attendance in any of our basic obedience classes (Puppy Kindergarten included, for pups younger than 4-6 months) for the lifetime of your dog!
